Hail the Snail #15

15 Aug

August 2nd: This mail call will mention several postcards, and the first two were from Krista’s recent trip to New Orleans.

August 3rd: The first letter I received this month (not including the one from Logan’s school) was from Kayla.

August 4th: Each mailbox had another letter for me– Manolo had Ashley’s and Pablo Rose’s.

August 6th: The next letter to arrive was from Jody, and the next postcard was one my dad sent Gabe.

August 7th: Manolo added Sarah’s letter to my reply pile while Pablo hooked me up with a postcard from a postcrosser in Switzerland.

August 9th: Othella hooked me up with the next postcard that arrived.

August 10th: Thanks to his Grandma Kraklow, Logan received the last few “back-to-school” things he needed.

August 11th: This was the postcard my dad sent the Loganator, lol:

August 13th: Dad sent Logan a little bubble mailer next while I got a letter from Jody and a postcard from Kira.

August 14th: More packages arrived for Logan thanks to his Grandma Kraklow, but these ones are for his freshly cleaned and organized room 😀

It’s been a pretty full month for me and the boys (for reasons I’ll write about in a few days), but somehow I’ve managed to stay on top of all of the incoming mail I just listed. Looking forward to seeing what else the mailboxes have in store for us during the second half of August, and hoping I can continue to respond to everything with little to no delay.

Sincerely, Kate ~!~

July 16th: I’m pleased to report the last of the Little Cards from May finally arrived.

July 18th: Sarah’s Little Cards (and blank postcards) arrived next along with some happy mail for the Loganator like this SeatPet:

July 19th: Thanks to Manolo I got a letter from Jody.

July 20th: And thanks to Pablo I got a Postcard from Wonderland.

*From the 23rd to 26th our mail was held while we were on vacation. Here, though, are the postcards I found when we went to Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point:

July 26th: Between the two mailboxes I came home to letters from Sarah and Kriston, two postcards via postcrossing, and my latest stamp order.

July 27th: Logan’s latest book per Kids Read Now arrived as well as a Boy’s Life magazine for him.

July 28th: Another two batches of Little Cards came for moi.

July 30th: This week started with a letter from Jody.

July 31st: And this mail call is ending with one more batch of Little Cards– just one more to go until I have all of July’s ATCs!

The second half of July was a pretty good month for mail, and it was just a good time in general. The boys and I enjoyed my dad’s visit, and we had a great vacation up in the UP. We’re looking forward to seeing what all August has up its sleeves for us, and of course I’m looking forward to seeing what Manolo and Pablo will have for me, too!

Sincerely, Kate ~!~

July 2nd: Like my last mail call, this one is also starting with a letter from Jody.

July 4th: Before celebrating America’s birthday with the cuties below, I celebrated finding two postcards in my P.O. box.

July 5th: I found a postcard in the regular box next thanks to Krista.

July 6th: Pablo had yet another two postcards while Manolo had a letter from Sarah.

July 12th: After almost a week without happy mail, both mailboxes had a letter for me– thanks Kayla and Heng-Yu!

July 13th: Though a box arrived via Manolo, it was for my dad… who will be arriving in the area later today!

July 14th: Not to be left out, the Loganator received a book via Kids Read Now.

I rarely say this, but I actually wouldn’t mind if the second half of July had even fewer letters and postcards. Between my dad visiting this week and us going on vacation the next, I don’t know how much time I will have for happy mail. I will get to everything sooner or later, though, and it won’t be long until I’m sharing those things with you again either! Ciao for now!

Sincerely, Kate ~!~

June 16th: Not only did I get “reading material” from Jody, the book I ordered for the boys per Father’s Day arrived, too:

June 17th: Pablo, the P.O. box, had a batch of Little Cards as well as a postcard.

June 19th: Pablo had another postcard for me.

June 22nd: While Pablo had yet another postcard, Manolo had a condolence card and my latest stamp order.

June 23rd: My latest order of address labels arrived next.

June 25th: Like this mail call, this week started with a letter from Jody.

June 27th: Manolo had another condolence card, and Pablo had two more postcards.

June 29th: Along with a letter from the school was a letter from Kayla.

June 30th: Kayla sent me a condolence card as well.

Although I didn’t post as much on this blog as I meant to in June, I have been staying caught up on regular mail post, lol. Now that we’re halfway through 2018, I think it’s time to adjust the blog again so it’s a bit better suited for me as we move into the second half of the year. What does that mean, really? Find out on the 5th 😛

Take care!
Sincerely, Kate ~!~

May 16th: The regular mailbox had a letter from Jody while the P.O. box had all sorts of cards, specifically a batch of Little Cards and two post-cards via postcrossing.

May 20th: Two more postcards via postcrossing came, as well as a letter from Kriston.

May 23rd: Pablo had another batch of Little Cards (but from another theme), and Manolo had a letter from Sarah.

May 26th: Thanks to Krista I received a postcard from Wonderland.

May 29th: Not only did I get something from the Secretary of State I was expecting, but I got Jody’s latest letter, too.

May 30th: I responded to Jody in time to get a letter from Allison.

May 31st: No letters yesterday, but the P.O. box had three more postcards via postcrossing, and the regular one had some freebies from St. Jude’s, in the hopes that I’d donate.

I got more postcards over the past couple weeks than there were days I got mail in this mail call, but I’m happy for all the mail I received all the same. I’m excited to see what will arrive now that it’s June, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the month has in store for us in general.

Sincerely, Kate ~!~

May 7th: I got another postcard (from Kristy this time), and Gabe got a birthday card from my dad.

May 9th: Another card came for the birthday boy, and then this unbirthday present from my dad came for me:

oct2

May 10th: A letter from Sarah arrived, plus an ATC order of sorts from a family friend.

May 11th: Along with a letter from Kayla were two postcards from Wonderland.

May 12th: Joining my little reply pile was a letter from Allison.

May 13th: Though not “happy mail,” it’s worth mentioning that for Mother’s Day the boys gave me The Greatest Showman, a teddy bear, and the things the Loganator made at school.

The boys and I have enjoyed having Mother’s Day and Gabe’s birthday to celebrate this past week, and I think we have all enjoyed whatever happy mail the first half of May has had for us, too. As per usual, I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the month has in store for us as well as the mailboxes.

Sincerely, Kate ~!~

April 21st: The next letter to arrive was one from Kristy.

April 24th: And the next postcard to arrive came for Logan thanks to my dad.

April 25th: Even more postcards arrived, but per an Etsy order of mine.

April 27th: Pablo had another batch of Little Cards while Manolo had these clothes for Bridget:

April 28th: The last official letters in April were from Allison and Jody, though yesterday…

April 30th: Supplementary materials arrived from both Allison and Kristy, along with some Arby’s coupons from my dad, lol.

As usual, I’m grateful for all of the happy mail I have received over the past month, and I’m looking forward to seeing what Manolo and Pablo have in store for me in May. Gabe might even get some happy mail, too, with his birthday happening next Wednesday, hehe.

All the best, Bleaders!
Sincerely, Kate ~!~
