Around this time next month I will have been on Postcrossing for a year. In general I’m happy getting whatever people want to send me, but I requested Alice in Wonderland friendly postcards in the hopes that some postcrossers had one they could send me. This blog is proof that 5 of ’em did! It’s amusing 4 of them came from Russia, but Elena (the girl responsible for #5) told me that Alice in Wonderland is very popular over there so I guess it’s not too surprising. What was surprising, however, is that in addition to her postcard, Elena also sent me this “Notepad of Cheshire Cat” over here –>
How awesome is that?! I’m looking forward to more postcards from Wonderland… and more postcards in general. It won’t be long until I have received 100 postcards via postcrossing! (To see my post from when I got 50 click here)
Sincerely, Kate ~!~
It’s interesting how many variations on a theme there can be. I think for Alice in Wonderland, there might be an endless possibility of ways it could be depicted. Thanks for sharing these!
I concur 🙂
Fab images so different yet the same theme : _ ) x Dawn
Aww!! The AIW cards are amazing 😀 I think I have a card or two in the same series as your first and fourth cards 😀 And I at least used to have an empty AIW card or two.. Need to start going through my postcards again 😀
I knew you’d like this post! I’m hoping to have more of them in the future– I have one postcard already as well as an honorable mention, haha.
Well I know what kind of postcards I should look for whenever I’m buying new ones 😉
Hehe. Please and thank you 😀
Kate
My new novel, Postcards from Wonderland will be released this March (2015). I am connecting with a number of others around the Internet who have posted or blogged or created something in reference to the idea of postcards from wonderland. At a minimum I will PIN your site and reference it in an upcoming article, but I am still thinking of new angles. Please let me know if you would like to have more direct input.

Oh my gosh, you’re going to need to tell me where I can get my hands on that book come March. Your timing is perfect as my birthday is on the 1st of it, hehe. I’ll be in touch– reading this made my morning!
Kate, I’ll do that. Meanwhile, stay tuned, more Postcards from Wonderland ideas coming soon. Send me an email when you get a chance.
